Indian women’s hockey team defeated the USA 4-2 in the first match of the final double header of the FIH Pro League 2021-22 at Rotterdam in Netherlands, last night.

Indian women, Deep Grace Ekka scored the first goal in the 31st while Navneet Kaur in 32nd minute, Sonika in 40th and Vandana Katariya struck the goal in 50th minute. For USA, Daniela Grega struck the goal in 28th minute while Natalie Konerth found the net



in 45th minute. Navneet Kaur won the Player of the Match trophy for her splendid performance.

With three points from the match, India remained third in the  FIH Pro League standings, amassing 27 points from 13 games. USA, on the other hand, are at the bottom with five points. Argentina has already claimed the title, finishing with 42 points from 16 matches.
