Indian Men's team to play for its maiden title of Asian Squash Championship in Cheongju, South Korea today

Cheongiu: In squash, the Indian men's squash team will be playing for its maiden title in the Asian Squash Team Championships, at Cheongju, South Korea today.

The team comprising Saurav Ghosal, Abhay Singh, Ramit Tandon and Velavan Senthil Kumar entered final defeating Malaysia 2-1 in the semifinal. They will clash with Kuwait in the final today. Kuwait defeated Hong Kong 2-1 in the



other semifinal.

Meanwhile, the Indian women's team, comprising Tanvi Khanna, Sunayna Sara Kuruvilla, Anahat Singh and Urvashi Joshi settled for the Bronze medal after losing to Malaysia 1-2 in the semifinals.

The Indian men's team has won three silver medals in the Asian Team Squash Championships and seven bronze medals.
