Indian men’s team beat Belgium 5-1 in FIH Pro League

London: Indian men’s team stunned Olympic champions Belgium 5-1 in FIH Pro League at Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre in London. Captain Harmanpreet Singh showcased exceptional performance as he struck a brace to secure India's remarkable triumph on Friday. 

Midfielder Vivek Sagar Prasad gave India the lead in the first



minute of the game, before Harmanpreet scored twice from penalty corners. Amit Rohidas and Dilpreet Singh were the other Indian goal scorers. William Ghislain scored the lone goal for Belgium in the opening minute of the fourth quarter.

India will take on Great Britain on Saturday.
