India retained its top position in the ICC Test rankings, while England remained the number one ODI side in the latest annual rankings released in Dubai yesterday. India also moved two points in second position in the ODI rankings behind England.

The results from 2015-16 season were purged and outcomes from the 2016-17 and 2017-18 were weighted at 50 per cent. This resulted in



New Zealand gain three points in the Test rankings to move two points behind India.

Australia has been overtaken by arch rival England at fourth, after six points from its 2015-16 season gained through four series wins were removed. Eighth-ranked West Indies closed the gap between seventh-placed Pakistan to two points.
