India ended their 8-year wait for the Asia Cup title with a convincing 4-1 win over Korea in the final in Rajgir on Sunday, September 7. Dilpreet Singh scored a brace while Sukhjeet Singh got the ball rolling in the very first minute and Amit Rohidas put the finishing touches in the final quarter. This was India's fourth Asia Cup title
win.
Their last triumph in the competition all the way back in 2017 when they won the title in Dhaka beating Malaysia in the final. It was a clinical performance by the hosts as they ended the competition unbeaten. Earlier on in the day, Malaysia secured the third spot with a 4-1 win over China and Japan finished 5th by beating Bangladesh.
