India beat China by 3-1 in Asian Champions Trophy

In Women's Hockey, India defeated China, 3-1 in their second round-robin match of the Asian Champions Trophy at Donghae in South Korea yesterday. 

Vandana scored a brace for India, with Gurjit being the other goal scorer. Wen Dan netted China's only goal.With the win, which was their second in as many games, defending champions India have risen to the top spot in the 5-nation



table. They had defeated Japan, 4-1 in the opener.

The Indian eves will play Malaysia at 11 AM Indian Time today in their third game. They will play hosts South Korea on Saturday.

Top two teams at the end of the round-robin stage will meet in the Final slated to take place on Sunday.
