India A got off to a solid start on their first-ever tour of Bangladesh as Abhimanyu Easwaran's men dominated the opening day against Bangladesh A at the Sheikh Kamal International Stadium in Cox's Bazar on Tuesday, November 29.

Saurabh Kumar and Navdeep Saini shone with 7 wickets between them as Bangladesh A were skittled out for 112. Mohammad Mithun's side managed to bat just 45 overs on the opening day after they were sent into bat after Abhimanyu Mithun won the toss.

In response, India reached 120 for 0 in 36 overs, sealing an 8-run lead at Stumps. India A and Bangladesh A will play two unofficial Test matches as part of India A's first tour of their neigbours.

Yashasvi Jaiswal remained unbeaten on 61, continuing his rich



vien of form across all formats while captain Easwaran hit 53 not out in 111 balls in a strong opening partnership.

Bangladesh A used 5 bowlers but none of them were able to dislodge the opening pair on Tuesday.

India's bowling show was led by pacers Mukesh Kumar and Navedeep Saini as they removed openers Mahmudul Hasan Joy (1) and Zakir Hasan (0) inside the 3rd over.

It was a strong start by the two India pacers as they picked up five of the top six with just 63 runs on the board. It looked like Bangladesh A would fold under 100 but Mosaddek Hossain led the fightback with 63 off 88 balls, including 3 sixes and 6 boundaries.

Mossadek's knock was crucial as Bangladesh were reeling at 26 for 5 at one stage.
