In the French Open tennis tournament, Fifth seed Rafael Nadal will meet third seed Germany's Alexander Zverev in the Men's Singles semifinals today for a place in Sunday's final.

In a remarkable game, Rafael Nadal had beaten World number 1 Novak Djokovic 6-2, 4-6, 6-2, 7-6 to enter the semi-finals of the French Open on Wednesday.

Nadal, the king of clay-he has won the French open maximum no of 13 times and has only lost thrice in the tournament. Nadal lost to Djokovic in the semi-final last year in 4 sets. Nadal won the Australian Open this year.

Middelkoop lost the men's doubles semi-final after a valiant fight. The duo went down to the pair of Jean Julien Rojer and Marcelo Arevalo by 6-4, 3-6, 6-7 on Thursday. 

Meanwhile, World No One Iga Swiatek has stormed into Women's Singles Final beating Daria Kasatkina 6-2, 6-1 in the first semifinal match on Thursday. In the second semifinal encounter, Coco Gauff will take on Martina Trevisan.

Men's Singles semifinal matches will be played today. In the first semifinal match, Rafael Nadal will clash with Alexander Zverev while Casper Ruud will take on Marin Čilić in the second match.
