England has qualified for the UEFA Euro 2020 football tournament and also become the top scorer with 38 goals in 2019. This is England's second-highest number ever and the highest since achieving the same total in 1966.

On the other hand, Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 99th international goal as Portugal secured its place at the Euro 2020 finals on Sunday. Portugal became the 17th nation to qualify for next year's multi-host tournament, which will kick off in Rome on June 12.

Earlier in the day, Serbia failed to secure a direct ticket for UEFA Euro 2020, as they tied 2-2 with Group B leader Ukraine in the final match of the qualifications. Serbia will look for a second chance to qualify in the Nations League Finals next year.
