Dhruv Jurel smashes second Test ton, shows off 'Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan' tattoo to celebrate

India and Sri Lanka took on each other on day 2 of the ongoing second Test, and the clash saw India continue to showcase their batting prowess. Beginning the day on a score of 300/5, it was the performances of Dhruv Jurel and Rishabh Pant that stood out. While Pant departed on a score of 63 runs, Jurel went on to complete his century, hitting his second Test ton, achieving the milestonnee in 171 deliveries.

It is worth noting that Dhruv Jurel was the star of the show for the Indian team as they took centre stage on the second day of the clash. Interestingly, the



visitors posted a total of 300 runs on the loss of five wickets as the first day came to a close. 

Day 2 began with Pant and Jurel on strike. After Pant’s dismissal, Jurel carried the Indian team’s batting attack throughout the day and helped the side post a total of 503 runs in the first innings before they declared. 

Most of the second day was washed away as rain played spoiler in the clash. However, as soon as the weather subsided, the Indian team wasted no time and got to the score of 500 to put Sri Lanka under pressure.
