Virat Kohli is set to return for a third game in the Vijay Hazare Trophy for Delhi. The legendary batter is expected to be part of their game against Railways on January 6 at the Board of Control for Cricket in India's Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru.

The Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA) President, Rohan Jaitley, has told India Today regarding Kohli's availability for the third game.

"As of now, he is playing. Virat has given his availability for three games," Rohan Jaitley said.

Kohli has been in fine form in the two domestic games he featured in, where he hit 131 and 77, respectively. He also crossed 16,000 runs



in List A cricket to surpass Sachin Tendulkar to be the fastest individual to the feat.

Before the domestic games, he also had a brilliant run in a three-match ODI series against South Africa, where he scored two consecutive centuries and followed it up with a fifty to ensure that India went on to win the series 2-1.

Reports have also suggested that the Indian team is set to assemble in Vadodara on January 8, there is a chance that Kohli might come in a day earlier and start training.

The three-match ODI series against New Zealand will begin on January 11, with the first game being held in Vadodara itself.
