Mumbai captain Prithvi Shaw hit yet another hundred in the Vijay Hazare Triophy on Tuesday to lead his team to the semi-finals of the 50-over domestic tournament.

Prithvi Shaw smashed 185 not out off 123 balls as Mumbai beat Jaydev Unadkat's Saurashtra by 9 wickets in the fourth quarterfinal in Delhi. Mumbai will now face Karnataka in the semifinal on March 11.

Shaw's innings was laced with 21 boundaries and 7 sixes as he took the Saurashtra attack to the cleaners during his third hundred-plus score in the tournament.

Shaw's knock saw him climb up to the third spot on the list of top-scorers in the Vijay Hazare this season. Shaw currently has 589 runs from 6 games at an average of 196.33, which is the highest for any batsmen in the competition.

Jaiswal added 238 for the first wicket before Aditya Tare joined the chase. Jaiswal scored 75 before Shaw and Tare (20 not out) finished off the chase in the 42nd over.

Shaw's 185 not out is the highest score by a batsman in a successful run-chase by an Indian batsman in List A matches as Mumbai registered their sixth successive win. Shaw broke the previous record held jointly by MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli.

Dhoni had smashed 183 not out in India's successful run chase of 299 against Sri Lanka in the 3rd ODI in Jaipur (2005) while Kohli had scored the same in an Asian Cup match to help India gun down 330 against Pakistan in Dhaka (2012).

Earlier, Saurashtra won the toss and rode on half-centuries each from Samarth Vyas, Chirag Jani and Vishvaraj Jadeja to post 284 for 5 in 50 overs after opting to bat first.
