A incident took place during the second T20I between Pakistan Women and West Indies women at Coolidge Cricket Ground, Antigua on Friday (July 2) when two Windies women cricketers -- Chinelle Henry and Chedean Nation -- collapsed on the field. However, the cause of their collapse still remains a mystery.

below is  the video of the incident from the proceedings between Pak-W and WI-W in the second T20I -

As per a Cricket West Indies (CWI) spokesperson, both the cricketers are "conscious and stable".

"Chinelle Henry and Chedean Nation were taken to hospital for medical attention. Both Henry and Nation are conscious and stable at the hospital and are being assessed," CWI was quoted as saying in a statement, ESPN reported.

Such incidents can not only take a toll on the spectators but can cause severe effects on the players as they are the closest viewers of such horrific incidents. Carrying on and trying to playing nonchalantly isn't easy by any means. Hence, Pakistan's women captain Javeria Khan lauded the Windies women's side to show a strong character and not only carry on with proceedings but emerge on top eventually.

'Hats off to the West Indies'

"The thoughts and prayers of the whole Pakistan team are with Chinelle Henry and Chedean Nation. We wish them a quick recovery and are hopeful that we will play against them in our next match on Sunday," Khan stated in a statement. "Such incidents are tragic and can shake whole dressing rooms. Hats off to the West Indies that they turned up and completed the match despite the grave incident," she added.

Talking about the rain-marred clash, Windies women posted 125-6 after batting first. In reply, the visitors only managed 103/6 in 18 overs to lose by 7 runs

(DLS method).
