Tata Group will replace Chinese mobile manufacturer, Vivo as the title sponsor of the Indian Premier League from 2022, league chairman Brijesh Patel said on Tuesday. The Tata Group's association as title sponsors of IPL was discussed during the league's Governing Council meeting earlier in the day, according to news agency Press Trust of India.

VIVO had signed a 5-year deal in 2018 worth Rs 440 crore annually until 2022. However, the Chinese mobile manufacturer had a year

Till the end of the 2023 edition, Tata Group will replace Vivo as the title sponsor of the cash-rich league.

The 15th edition of the Indian Premier League will have as many as 10 teams as two new teams, one from Ahmedabad and the other from Lucknow, are all set to join the cash-rich league.
