T20 WC 2022: Rishabh Pant comes in for injured Dinesh Karthik during the game

Indian cricket team are against South Africa in their third game of the T20 World Cup on Sunday, 30th October at Perth. The game was shaping up well before Dinesh Karthik has to go out to the pavilion as he got a niggle in the ongoing game against South Africa. Rishabh Pant immediately replaced him and took the gloves.

Rishabh Pant is present in the Indian squad for this T20 World Cup 2022. He hasn’t got a chance in the playing XI yet but made an appearance in the inhi game



against South Africa because Karthik had to move out due to injury. Before the start of the 15th over wicket-keeper batter Dinesh Karthik was seen walking off the field and a physio was also with him. Rishabh Pant came off the bench as wicket-keeper is allowed to have a substitution in the game as per rules.  However India lost the game and this was their first defeat in the T20 World Cup 2022. Indian fans are hoping this injury to Dinesh Karthik is not so big. There are not any updates about it yet.
