Sun Risers Hyderabad defeated Rajasthan Royals by 5 wickets in Hyderabad on Friday. Chasing the target of 199 runs, Sun Risers Hyderabad achieved the target in 19 overs.

David Warner scored 69 runs whereas Jonny Bairstow contributed 45 runs.

Earlier, Rajasthan Royals won the toss and elected to bat.  Sanju Samson smashed the century and guided Rajasthan Royals to a mammoth traget of 198 for two against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
 
Samson, who became the first batsman to score a century in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019, remained unbeaten on a 55-ball



102, including 10 boundaries and four sixes. 

It was Samson's second IPL ton.  Rahane also registered his first fifty in 38 balls. 

With this, Sun Risers Hyderabad registered  their first win in the IPL 2019, while Rajasthan Royals suffered a second successive defeat as they lost their first match to Kings XI Punjab by 14 runs.

In today's encounters, Kings Eleven Punjab meet Mumbai Indians in Chandigarh at 4.p.m. and Delhi Capitals will take on Kolkata Knight Riders at 8 p.m. in Delhi.
