Sri Lanka beat England by 20 runs at Leeds yesterday. Chasing the victory target of 233 runs, hosts England were all out for 212 runs. Sri Lanka's Lasith Malinga, who took 4 wickets for 43 runs, was declared Man of the Match.

Earlier, electing to bat first after winning the toss, Sri Lanka made 232 for the loss of nine wickets in the stipulated 50 overs. Angelo Mathews remained unbeaten on 85.

Today, India will take on  Afghanistan at the Rose Bowl in Southampton at 3 p.m. All eyes will be on Rishabh Pant's selection who has joined the squad as



replacement of Shikhar Dhawan and the youngster will be a powerful addition to the middle-order. India has suffered a set back having lost an in-form Shikhar Dhawan to a fractured thumb.

In the second match today, West Indies face New Zealand in Manchester at 6 p.m.

Australia is leading the table with ten points from six matches followed by New Zealand with 9 points from 5 matches. India is fourth in the table with seven points from four matches so far. Afghanistan is at the bottom of the table with no win.
