SRH To Release Heinrich Klaasen ahead of IPL 2026

Sunrisers Hyderabad is reportedly planning to release star wicketkeeper-batter Heinrich Klaasen ahead of the IPL 2026 mini-auction, freeing up his Rs 23 crore retention fee from the 2025 season to target premium bowlers and rebuild the squad after a disappointing year outside the

playoffs.

Multiple franchises including Chennai Super Kings, Kolkata Knight Riders, and Rajasthan Royals are monitoring the situation for a potential bidding war.

The decision remains unconfirmed as the November 15, 2025 retention deadline approaches.
