South Africa have taken a one-nil lead in the three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe. In a low-scoring first match in Kimberley today, the hosts beat Zimbabwe by five wickets. Sent in to bat, Zimbabwe were shot out for 117 in 34.1 overs.  It was their lowest ODI score against South



Africa.  The Proteas overhauled the victory target in 26.1 overs by scoring 119 for 5. 

It was South Africa's 36th win in 38 completed ODIs against Zimbabwe.  The second ODI between the two teams will be played in Bloemfontein on Wednesday.
