The Sri Lanka Cricket board, on November 11, revealed a 10-day training camp scheduled to start from November 13 for 22 players. The 10-day training will take place at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium and a bio bubble has been created for the same.

According to SLC, the training camp will be focusing on the senior men team’s tour of South Africa, starting in December. Sri Lanka will play two Test matches in South Africa, the 1st of which will start on Boxing Day in Centurion.

As per the media release by SLC, “once



the training camp is over, the players participating in the Lanka Premier League will leave directly to Hambantota, whilst the rest will return to Colombo on the 22nd of November”.

Sri Lanka National Test squad will fly out to South Africa on December 17, 9 days ahead of the 1st Test. Following the Boxing Day Test, the 2nd Test match will commence on January 3, 2021, in Johannesburg.

The 2020 edition of the Sri Lanka Premier League, a 5 team event playing 43 matches, is scheduled to be held from 26 November to 16 December 2020.
