Renowned Indian singer Shreya Ghoshal will perform at the Grand Opening Ceremony of the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 in Guwahati, ahead of the tournament opener between India and Sri Lanka on September 30. Ghoshal, who has also recorded the official anthem, “Bring It Home,” will celebrate the energy, spirit, and unity of women’s cricket on a global stage.

The ICC has announced record-low ticket prices for the event, with tickets for all league matches in India priced at just Rs 100 (approximately USD 1.14) during the first phase of sales. The fan-friendly pricing aims to ensure packed stadiums and enthusiastic crowds, reflecting the growing

stature and global appeal of women’s cricket. Tickets go on sale at 19:00 IST on Thursday, 4 September, through an exclusive four-day Google Pay pre-sale window at Tickets.cricketworldcup.com, running until 19:00 IST on Monday, 8 September. A second public sale begins at 20:00 IST on Tuesday, 9 September.

This edition marks the return of the Women’s World Cup to India after 12 years. Matches will be played across four Indian cities — Guwahati, Indore, Visakhapatnam, and Navi Mumbai — alongside Colombo, Sri Lanka. The opening ceremony in Guwahati promises a vibrant showcase of cricket, culture, and music, with Ghoshal’s live performance serving as a highlight.
