West Indies legends started off their Road Safety Series campaign with a thumping win over Bangladesh, securing a six wicket victory. Windies chased down a paltry target of 99 runs in just 15.2 overs, to begin their campaign without much fuss.

Bowling first, West Indies, powered by Krishmar Santokie and Sulieman Benn bowled out Bangladesh for just 98 runs. Almost all of Windies' seven bowlers were clinical on the day, with Daren Powell picking up a maiden as well.
The pressure created wickets from the other and Santokie was able to pick up three in his spell of 2.4 overs.

Coming out to bat, Windies showed their power hitting capabilities



with Smith notching up a half century before getting caught plumb in front by Alok Kapali. The opener hit 51 off 42 balls that included 9 boundaries and 1 six. The game was finished off by William Perkins in the 16th over with a pull shot over mid wicket.

Earlier in the tournament, India Legends began the fireworks hitting 217 runs after coming out to bat first. The crowd got a glimpse of Sachin Tendulkar, as he came out to open for India Legends. While Sachin's stay at the crease was shortlived, Stuart Binny lit up the stage hitting 82* off just 42 balls. Uselful contributions from recently retired Suresh Raina and Yusuf Pathan, soared the number of runs above 200 for India.
