Amid the ongoing handshake row and continuing tension with ICC match referee Andy Pycroft, PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi made an unscheduled visit to Pakistan’s training session ahead of their highly anticipated Super Fours clash against arch-rivals India at the Asia Cup in Dubai on Sunday.

Naqvi, who also serves as

chair of the Asian Cricket Council, arrived at the ICC Academy on Saturday evening, where he briefly addressed the players before holding a prolonged discussion with white-ball head coach Mike Hesson. The PCB chief appeared animated during the exchange with the former New Zealand cricketer, often underlining his points with emphatic gestures.
