In Asia cup, Pakistan defeated the inexperienced Hong Kong by 8 wickets in a group A match at Dubai Cricket Stadium in UAE on Sunday. 

Chasing 117 to win, Pakistan made a good start with Imam and Fakhar Zaman sharing a 41-run partnership for the opening wicket. Imam-ul-Haq hit an unbeaten fifty as Pakistan chased down the target in just 24th



over. 

Earlier, electing to bat first, Hong Kong was folded for a paltry 116 in 37.1 overs. Seamer Usman picked up three wickets, while Shadab Khan and Hasan Ali took 2 wickets each.  

In today fixture, Sri Lanka will take on Afghanistan at the Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi. The match will start at 5 PM Indian time.
