Sharjah: Mumbai Indians registered a massive eight-wicket victory against Rajasthan Royals in Sharjah last night to stay alive in the race to playoffs of the IPL. Put into bat first, Rajasthan scored a paltry 90 runs for the loss of nine wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. 

Opener Evin Lewis was the top scorer for Rajasthan with 24 runs while David Miller was the next best with 15 runs. This is the lowest total at Sharjah in IPL history and the lowest for Rajasthan Royals this season. Showing



excellent bowling performance for Mumbai, Coulter-Nile picked up four wickets while Neesham scalped three batsmen and Jasprit Bumrah took two.

In reply, Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians easily chased down the target in the just 8.2 overs losing two wickets riding on Ishan Kishan's not out fifty off 25 balls and Rohit Sharma's 22 off 13.

Today, Royal Challengers Bangalore will take on Sunrisers Hyderabad in Abu Dhabi at 7:30 pm.
