Mumbai Indians beat CSK by 46 runs

Mumbai Indians beat Chennai Super Kings by 46 runs in an encounter at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai last night. Chasing a target of 156 runs, Chennai Super Kings were bundled out for 109 runs with 14 balls to spare. Mumbai pacer Lasith Malinga picked up 4 wickets by giving away 37 runs while Murali Vijay scored highest 38 runs for Chennai. 

Earlier, put into bat, Mumbai Indians posted a challenging total of 155 for 4 in the stipulated 20 overs. Mumbai skipper Rohit Sharma led from the front and scored 67 off



48 balls while Mitchell Santner picked up 2 wickets for Chennai. 

Suresh Raina led Chennai team as Skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni missed the game due to fever. Chennai still tops the table with 16 points while Mumbai Indians advanced to the second position with 14 points. Delhi Capitals slipped to the third position with 14 points. 

Today, Rajasthan Royals will take on Sunrisers Hyderabad in Jaipur.
