MS Dhoni joins the teammates of CSK in Chennai for camp ahead of IPL 2020

Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni on Friday reunited with a few of his teammates, including vice-captain Suresh Raina, en route Chennai for their training camp in the lead up to Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020. Suresh Raina took to social media to share a photo of MS Dhoni with himself from their trip to Chennai in a chartered plane. Deepak Chahar, Piyush Chawla, Karn Sharma were also seen in the photograph. Social media was abuzz as photos and clips of MS Dhoni heading to the Ranchi airport on Friday went viral. The CSK captain was seen getting off his SUV and walking towards the airport, while a few of his fans watched on.

IPL 2020 will be in held in the



UAE in front of empty stands from September 19 to November 10. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) moved the tournament out of the country due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.

Earlier in the day, Raina posted a picture with teammates from inside the flight with some of the crew members. He also thanked them and the airline for taking them to Chennai with all Covid-19 precautions in place.

Chennai Super Kings are the first team to organise a training camp in India before the teams head to the UAE. Dhoni will lead the training camp with a select few Indian players from August 15 to 20 and CSK will leave for UAE on August 21.
