Sydney: India were 96 for loss of 2 wickets against Australia on the second day of the third Test match at Sydney a short while ago.

Cheteshwar Pujara was batting on 9 runs and Ajinkya Rahane batting on 5 runs when the last reports came in.

Earlier, the hosts were all out for 338. Ravindra Jadeja took 4 wickets for the visitors, while

Steven Smith scored 131 runs for the hosts. The hosts had won the toss and elected to bat on the opening day.
