Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Rajasthan Royals by 6 wickets at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata last night. 

Opting to bowl, Kolkata bundled out Rajasthan for just 142 in 19 overs, riding on Kuldeep Yadav's 4-wicket haul. Later, the hosts overhauled the target with 2 overs to spare.

The win helped Kolkata strengthen



their third position in the 8-team points table and inch closer to the play-offs. 

Rajasthan is fourth. Sunrisers Hyderabad lead the standings, with Chennai Super Kings second. 

Today, Mumbai Indians will host Kings Eleven Punjab at 8 in the evening.
