Mumbai: In IPL Cricket, Punjab Kings beat Chennai Super Kings by 11 runs at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai last night.

Put in to bat first, Punjab posted 187 for four wickets in the stipulated 20 overs riding on Shikhar Dhawan's brilliant unbeaten knock of 88 runs and Bhanuka Rajapaksa's 42. For Chennai, Dwayne Bravo picked up two wickets.

Chasing the target, Chennai could only score 176 for the loss of six



wickets in 20 overs with the help of Ambati Rayudu's 78 runs. For Punjab, Kagiso Rabada and Rishi Dhawan scalped two wickets each.

During the match, Dhawan has also become only the second batter after Virat Kohli to complete 6,000 runs in IPL history.

Today, Royal Challengers Bangalore will take on the Rajasthan Royals at the MCA Stadium in Pune at 7:30 pm.
