Mumbai: In IPL Cricket, Mumbai Indians defeated Chennai Super Kings by five wickets at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai last night.

Put in to bat first, Chennai were all out for 97 runs in 16 overs as Daniel Sams picked up three wickets while Riley Meredith and Kumar Kartikeya bagged two wickets each. Skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni top-scored with an unbeaten 36



runs.

In reply, Mumbai easily overhauled the low target in just 14.5 overs losing five wickets with the help of Tilak Varma's not-out 34 runs. For Chennai, Mukesh Choudhary scalped three wickets.

Today, Royal Challengers Bangalore will lock horns with Punjab Kings at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai at 7:30 pm.
