IPL 2025: Gujarat Titans look to chase 156, go six down, rain plays spoilsport

Rain has returned to spoil the party for Gujarat Titans in their IPL clash against Mumbai Indians, with the visitors currently five runs behind on DLS par score. GT were 132/6, needing 24 runs off the last two overs, before rain returned at the Wankhede Stadium. 12:25 is the re-assessed cut-off time for the match to restart.

scored a half-century but MI failed to capitalise on the opportunities to be restricted to 155/8 by a clinical bowling display by GT. Jacks had to walk into the middle early after Ryan Rickelton's dismissal and he made the most of his chance to score his maiden half-century for the Mumbai Indians. Both teams are tied on 14 points but MI have played 11 games as compared to GT's 10.
