Chennai Super Kings registered win against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Friday in the 29th match of IPL 2023. Chennai beat Hyderabad by 7 wickets at their homeground MA Chidambaram Stadium. CSK won the toss and opted to bowl. Coming to bat first, SRH batters managed to score 134/7 in 20 overs. On the other hand, the MS Dhoni-led team completed the chase in just 18.4 overs with 7 wickets in hand.

CSK performed brilliantly in batting and bowling both. Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway made a strong start during the chase. While Ruturaj contributed 35 runs, Conway played an innings of 77 runs. Ajinkya Rahane and Ambati Rayudu contributed 9 runs each. SRH bowlers failed to make an impact in the match. Mayank Markande scalped 2 wickets. Conway and Ravindra Jadeja emerged as match winners and contributed to team's win.

SRH started batting on a slow note. Harry Brook scored 18 runs in



13 balls. Apart from him, Abhishek Sharma scored 34 runs in 26 balls, Rahul Tripathi scored 21 runs, Aiden Markram contributed 12 runs and Marco Janson played an innings of 17 runs and, Washington Sundar scored 9 runs. SRH managed to score only 135 runs while batting first.

When it comes to Chennai's bowlers, Akash Singh, Maheesh Theekshana, and Matheesha Pathirana took 1 wicket each. Ravindra Jadeja registered a 3-wicket haul.
