Navi Mumbai: In IPL Cricket, Royal Challengers Bangalore, RCB, cruised to the second position in the points table riding on a 18-run victory over Lucknow Super Giants. 

Put into bat first at the D. Y. Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai, Bangalore posted 181 for six in the stipulated 20 overs with the help of Faf du Plessis's brilliant knock of 96 runs off 64 balls. For Lucknow, Jason Holder and Dushmantha Chameera took two



wickets each.  

Chasing the target, Lucknow were restricted to a total of 163 for eight as Josh Hazlewood took four and Harshal Patel scalped two wickets. Krunal Pandya top-scored for Lucknow with 42 runs.  

Today, Delhi Capitals will take on the Punjab Kings at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai at 7:30 pm.
