Royal Challengers Bangalore batsman AB de Villiers hit his 200th six for the franchise in the IPL 2020 match against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Dubai on Monday.

The first six that he hit off Sandeep Singh on Monday took him to the milestone of 200 sixes for RCB.

De Villiers has been playing for the Royal Challengers Bangalore since 2011, and has been one of the most exciting batsman to watch in the tournament for several years now.

His partnership with RCB skipper Virat Kohli has been the highlight of many IPL matches. However the several records between the two players have not been able to earn the team their maiden IPL title.

Monday with a message to their fans. On the morning of the matchday, the Kohli and de Villiers changed were seen sporting RCB jerseys with not their names but the ones of Covid-19 warriors.

Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers changed their profile photos on social media to the jerseys with the names of Covid-19 warriors on it. Both the batsmen also changed their Twitter profile names to Simranjeet Singh and Paritosh Pant, respectively.

Kohli sported the jersey with Simranjeet's name while de Villiers' shirt had Paritosh's name on it.

"I salute Paritosh, who started 'Project Feeding from Far' with Pooja & fed meals to 2 needy during the lockdown. I wear his name on my back this season 2 appreciate their challenger spirit," AB de Villiers wrote on his social media post.
