India defeated South Africa by 51 runs in the fourth T-20 match at Surat last night, taking an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the five-match series.

Put in to bat first, India Women scored 140 for the loss of four wickets. In reply, South Africa women were restricted to 89 for 7.

The match was reduced to 17 overs per side as the toss was delayed due to wet outfield.

The second and third T20s were abandoned due to rain without a ball being bowled due to heavy rainfall. The fifth and final T20 will be played at the same venue on Friday.
