Day 1 of the third and final Test between India and South Africa at Newlands, Cape Town witnessed a gripping day of action with the visitors ending the first innings with 223 on the scoreboard. It was a high-quality day of cricket with both India and South Africa playing at their best as the picturesque Newlands produced a true wicket in what has been tipped as the final frontier for the Indian team.
