India were 19 for no loss at stumps last night after dismissing Hosts England for 246 in their first innings on the opening day of the fourth Test of the five match series at Southampton. At stumps, India openers Shikhar Dhawan 3 and KL Rahul 11 were at the crease.

For India, Jasprit Bumrah claimed three wickets while Mohd Shami, Ishant Sharma and Ravichandran Ashwin got two wickets each and Hardik Pandya one. Earlier, Hosts England won the toss and and elected to bat.

For the first time in 39 Tests that he has captained, Virat Kohli has fielded an unchanged eleven that won against England at Trent Bridge. England have won the first two tests and India the third one. The fifth and final test will be played in London from the 7th of next month.
