Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Hardik Pandya starred with the ball as India bowled out Pakistan for 147 in the Asia Cup clash in Dubai. Bhuvneshwar picked four for 26, while Hardik also returned with figures of three for 25 after India invited Pakistan to bat at the Dubai International Stadium. The Indian pacers targetted Pakistan batters with short ball.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar gave India the perfect start by picking up the big wicket of Babar Azam. Avesh Khan then removed the dangerous Fakhar Zaman within the powerplay to put Rohit Sharma's team in a great position. Mohammad Rizwan and Iftikhar Ahmed helped Pakistan to recover from early blows before Bhuvneshwar and Hardik cleaned up the Pakistan tail. Rizwan top-score with a fine 43, before Shahnawaz Dahani and Haris Rauf took Pakistan to a respectable total.

Earlier,  Rishabh Pant did not find a place in India's playing XI as Dinesh Karthik was given a nod over the youngster. All eyes are on Virat Kohli who returns to action after being rested for India's last two tours - West Indies and Zimbabwe.

The former India skipper will make his 100th T20I appearance, becoming the only Indian player to play 100 or more games in all three formats. Young Pakistan pacer Naseem Shah is all set to make his T20I debut today, informed the Pakistan Cricket Board hours ahead of their match against India today.

Hasan Ali has also joined the Pakistan team, after being roped in as a late replacement for the injured Mohammad Wasim Jr, who had suffered a side strain. After a gap of almost one year, India play a cricket match against Pakistan. The last time the two teams played against each other was a T20 World Cup encounter at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium that saw the Babar Azam-led side come out on top on match day, registering a 10-wicket win over their arch-rivals. That was the first time Pakistan beat India in a World Cup encounter.

And now, India finally have their chance to avenge the loss. Led by Rohit, Team India meets Pakistan at the same venue on Sunday in the Asia Cup. The highly-awaited encounter is the campaign opener for both the teams.
