India all-rounder Hardik Pandya has left for Chennai to join Team India there after being named in the Test squad for the first two matches against England.

On Thursday, he posted a photo on social media with his son Agastya on his lap and captioned it ‘My boy’s first flight’.

It has been a tough few days for Hardik Pandya after the death of his father Himanshu Pandya, who passed away due to a cardiac arrest on January 16. In a heart-wrenching post days later, the star said that losing his father was the ‘most difficult things to accept in life’.

Pandya, who last played for India in the limited overs series in Australia, arrived in India

soon after to spend time with his wife and son, who he had not seen for over three months.

After his heroics in the limited-overs series, when asked how much he missed his family back home in India, Pandya had said, “I am missing my child. When I left, the child was 15 days and now the child will be of four months. Waiting for when I will return. Yes, a lot of things have changed but for the better and this is the best time in my life.”

Pandya was earlier included in the Test squad for the England series along with Virat Kohli and Ishant Sharma. He will remain in bio-bubble for the next three days before joining the rest of the team for their practise match against India A.
