Brisbane: India were 62 for two at the tea break, in reply to Australia's first innings 369 in the series-decider at the Gabba when the rain struck to delay the start of play. Pat Cummins had struck as early as his first over to remove Shubman Gill. Ajinkya Rahane has joined Cheteshwar Pujara. 

Earlier in the day, captain Tim Paine hit a fifty and tail wagged as Australia managed to post 369. T Natarajan, Sundar and Shardul finished with 3 wickets each.
