India skipper Rohit Sharma on Wednesday broke Virat Kohli's record for most runs as India's T20I captain during the third and final T20I against Afghanistan in Bengaluru. Rohit achieved the milestone after hitting his 30th T20I fifty in the final T20I.

Previously, Virat Kohli held the record with an impressive tally of 1570 runs as India's T20I captain. MS Dhoni, another legendary figure in Indian cricket and known for his astute captaincy, is ranked third on the list with 1112 runs. Rohit
