India captain Virat Kohli and his deputy Rohit Sharma moved up in the ICC Men's T20I Player Rankings released on Wednesday after starring with the bat in the home series win over England in Ahmedabad.


Virat Kohli, who amassed the highest aggregate total in a bilateral T20I series, rose to the fourth and is now the



highest-ranked Indian batsman ahead of KL Rahul.


Rohit, who played a 34-ball 64 run knock in the final T20I vs England, moved up three places to 14th in the latest weekly rankings update which took into account the three-match Afghanistan-Zimbabwe series in Abu Dhabi apart from the last two matches of the India-England series.
