India pacer Mohammed Siraj lost the top position in the ICC ODI rankings in the latest list released by the world cricket body. Siraj, who has risen in ranks after his sensational white-ball performances over the last 10 months, lost his place after a hammering from Mitchell Marsh and Travis Head in India vs Australia's 2nd ODI of the series.

Siraj was hit for 37 runs in his three overs as Travis Head and Mitchell Marsh rocketed to the 118-run target set by India at Visakhapatnam. In a press release, ICC revealed the reason behind the rankings changes and noted that injured Josh Hazlewood has reclaimed his position as the top ODI bowler in the latest ICC charts.

"Australia seamer Josh Hazlewood - who is absent from the ongoing series in India - re-claims pole position ahead of New Zealand left-armer Trent Boult, with Siraj

dropping into a tie for third with in-form quick Mitchell Starc," the statement read.

ICC Men's ODI Bowling Rankings:

1. Josh Hazlewood
2. Trent Boult
3. Mohammed Siraj
4. Mitchell Starc
5. Rashid Khan
6. Shakib Al Hasan
7. Shaheen Shah Afridi
8. Mujeeb Ur Rahman
9. Adam Zampa
10. Mohammad Nabi

Siraj has been the rock of the Indian bowling line-up in all three formats in the absence of Jasprit Bumrah. He is expected to be India's lead pacer alongside Mohammed Shami for the upcoming ODI World Cup, set to be played in the months of October and November in India. Siraj has shown a sensational rise in his white ball exploits since his debut in the Indian Premier League and is one of the most improved bowlers in the recent times.
