Gill lauds team effort, looks forward to Rohit, Virat magic in Australia

Shubman Gill, who led India to his first Test series win defeating West Indies 2-0 in the two match series, first Test series win as captain said definitely, a very pleasing feeling.

“I think the way we played in both matches in all departments was commendable. We turned it around pretty nicely. In terms of batting, I’m really enjoying my time out there and not really thinking too much about expectations, pressure, and all of those things. I just



want to go out there and enjoy what I’ve been doing since I was a kid,” Gill said in a chat Amul Cricket Live.

On embracing the role of captaincy, Gill said being involved in some of the key decisions is something that really liked, and he thought would bring out the best in hin.

“And that’s what’s happening. I enjoy responsibility. I like to be ‘the guy’ out there, and I think it’s been helping me,” he said.
