Die-hard RCB fan flaunts team's jersey during convocation in US

In a viral video, a student and a die-hard RCB fan flaunted the team's jersey during his convocation ceremony in the United States. It was a special moment for the student as he was rewarded for years of hard work with the master's degree and he made it that more special by celebrating his favourite team's success on the big stage.

The video, which has been widely circulated on the internet, shows the student taking out his RCB jersey while being felicitated by university dignitaries. The student was in his formal attire, but managed to sneak in the RCB shirt while waking up to the center of the stage. RCB fans have been on cloud nine ever since the franchise made it into the playoffs of the IPL 2024.

However, this is not the first time an RCB fan has flaunted love for the franchise during a convocation ceremony. Earlier, another student, while graduating, took out RCB's flag and waved it when he



received the degree. 

RCB fans have been known for their passionate and unwavering support for the team. The franchise boasts a dedicated and loyal fanbase that transcends geographical boundaries and cultures.

The fans have stood by their team through thick and thin despite RCB's unending wait for the IPL trophy. Regardless of the results, they fill the stadiums with cheers and chants to bring an unmatched energy.

In the 2024 season, their hopes were renewed by a resurgent RCB team that came up with a beyond-believable late charge after a poor start. RCB had won only one of their first 8 matches, but stitched a six-match winning run to sneak through to the playoffs. In a thrilling encounter on Saturday, RCB defeated CSK by 27 runs to qualify for the playoffs.

RCB will face RR in the eliminator match on May 22, Wednesday at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
