Delhi Capitals opener Shikhar Dhawan has announced a donation of Rs 20 lakh towards 'Mission Oyxgen' to help fund the requirement of Oxygen in Covid-hit India.

The southpaw on Friday took to Twitter and also announced that he will be donating all the cash prizes won in the IPL 2021 towards the relief work.

"We are in unprecedented times right now, and it is the need of the hour that we do everything



possible to help each other out,"

"I will be making a donation of Rs 20 lakhs, plus money from all post-match individual performances towards that I receive from the IPL 2021 towards Mission Oxygen to help fund the requirement of oxygen," read a part of his statement.

Earlier in the day, Rajasthan Royals pacer Jaydev Unadkat also donated 10 per cent of his IPL 2021 salary to help those affected by Covid-19 in India.
