Daredevils beat Royals by 4 runs under D/L method

New DelhiL Delhi Daredevils beat Rajasthan Royals by four runs under Duckworth/Lewis method in their IPL match here last night. Sent in bat, Delhi made 196 for six in 17.1 overs when rain brought a premature end to their innings. 

Rajasthan Royals were set a revised target of 151 from 12 overs under Duckworth/Lewis method. But Daredevils restricted the Royals to 146 for five to notch up the win. Daredevils have now moved up to sixth from the eighth position and have kept themselves in the race for IPL play-offs. 

Today, table-toppers Chennai Super Kings, who have 12 points from eight matches, will



take on Kolkata Knight Riders in Kolkata. The game will begin at 8 p.m. At present, Kolkata Knight Riders are placed 4th with 8 points from eight games.
