Chennai Super Kings recorded a superb 80-run win over Delhi Capitals at Chennai last night.

Put in to bat, the hosts posted 179 for 4, riding on Suresh Raina's 59 and an end-of-innings cameo from skipper MS Dhoni.

Dhoni made an unbeaten 44 off just 22 balls comprising 4 fours and 3 sixes.

In reply, Delhi were bundled out for just 99 in 16.2 overs. South African spinner Imran Tahir bagged 4 wickets, while Ravindra Jadeja took three. Dhoni was adjudged man of the match.

With the win, Chennai has replaced Delhi at the top of the eight-team points table.

Chennai is now first with 18 points from 13 games, while Delhi is second with 16 points from equal number of matches.

Both teams have already booked a place in the play-offs. The remaining two play-offs berths are yet to be decided.

Today, Mumbai Indians will take on Sunrisers Hyderabad at Mumbai at 8 in the evening.
