The England Cricket Team will enjoy the services of all-rounder Ben Stokes in the upcoming tour of India. India will host England for 4 Tests, starting on February 5, followed by a full-fledged white-ball leg of the tour.


In the 4-match Test series, Both India and England will be eyeing to secure a place in the ICC World Test Championship final, to be held at Lord’s in June.


Stokes missed the first half of IPL 2020 as he was in New Zealand, spending time with his family and to be alongside his ailing father Ged. Stokes will be making his return to cricket for the first time since his father passed away in December.


The all-rounder has



announced his departure for India ahead of the full-fledged tour that begins in February.


England have rested wicketkeeper-batsman Jonny Bairstow, pacers Mark Wood and Sam Curran for the first two Tests against India, both scheduled to be held in Chennai. Replacing them will be Ben Stokes, Jofra Archer and Rory Burns, all three of them were rested for the ongoing 2-match Test series in Sri Lanka.
